Join our team: rebar foreman (Wales)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Sir Powys, Wales. You will work on a busy residential building site. The role involves place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
