Great opportunity: pressman (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. You will be based in a busy laundry. The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
