Safety officer • Brown County, Minnesota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Brown County, Minnesota. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
