Bodyshop painter — Central Bedfordshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Central Bedfordshire, England. The job is at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. £16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
