Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Santa Cruz County, California. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
