Overlocker operator • Marshall County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Marshall County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
