Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and correct dilution ratios • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines Day-to-day duties: • Replenish amenities — soap, shampoo, towels, tea/coffee tray and toilet rolls • Restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals • Empty bins, replace liners and segregate the waste • Clean and disinfect bathrooms — toilets, basins, showers, mirrors and tiles • Strip and make beds with fresh linen and tight hospital corners Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
