HGV driver wanted in Fort Bend County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in Fort Bend County, Texas. The job is at a haulage company. What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips On a typical shift you will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
