Steel erection rigger • Rabun County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Rabun County, Georgia. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
