Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Bastrop County, Texas. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
