Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Share your details and we will call you back.
