Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile fixer in Ekiti South-West, Ekiti State. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. Your main tasks: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Full-time with occasional weekends.
