Furniture maker — De Soto Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
