Join our team: stainless steel welder (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lee County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
