Gas metal arc welder wanted in City of York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in City of York, England. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £95 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
