Furniture maker wanted in Christian County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Christian County, Missouri. The role involves: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Full-time with occasional weekends.
