Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Montgomery County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
