Steel erection rigger wanted in Russell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Russell County, Virginia. The job is on a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
