Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates The role involves: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Full-time with occasional weekends.
