Steel erection rigger wanted in Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Jefferson County, Alabama. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Six days a week, one day off. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
