Nursery worker • Kabo, Kano State

Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Kabo, Kano State. You will be based in a botanical garden. Day to day you will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
