Car painter — Haines Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a car painter in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a spray booth. On the job you will handle: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun What we are looking for: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
