Immediate opening: steel fixing chargehand (Montana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Lincoln County, Montana. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
