Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals Part-time with flexible hours.
