Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Stafford County, Virginia. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
