Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Calloway County, Kentucky. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
