Safety marshal — Pender County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Pender County, North Carolina. The job is at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
