Great opportunity: crane rigger (Osun State)

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Oriade, Osun State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
