Press shop operator — Kershaw County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Kershaw County, South Carolina. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
