Great opportunity: safety officer (South Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 2+ years on the tools preferred.
