We are recruiting: excavator operator (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Taylor County, Texas. You will be based at a landfill site. You will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
