Counter butcher wanted in Chittenden County

Now hiring: we are hiring a counter butcher in Chittenden County, Vermont. You will be based in a meat processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
