Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in Tate County, Mississippi. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
