Wood machinist — Salt Lake County

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Part-time with flexible hours.
