Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Putnam County, New York. The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 1+ years on the tools preferred.
