Great opportunity: rebar worker (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
