Site safety steward — Portsmouth

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Portsmouth, England. Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Pay around £17 per hour, based on your experience.
