GTAW welder wanted in Crawford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Crawford County, Indiana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
