Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Huerfano County, Colorado. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
