Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Kingman County, Kansas. Day to day you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience.
