Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Des Moines County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $120 per day, based on your experience.
