Aluminium TIG welder — New York County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in New York County, New York. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise.
