Now hiring: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Surry County, North Carolina. You will work on a construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane 6+ years on the tools preferred.
