Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen porter in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The job is in a hospital canteen. Your main tasks: • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred.
