Restoration bricklayer • Davison County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Davison County, South Dakota. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation.
