Day to day you will mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters. Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Six days a week, one day off.
