Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in West Northamptonshire, England. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights.
