Safety marshal • George County, Mississippi

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in George County, Mississippi. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
