Gas meter installer wanted in Avery County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Avery County, North Carolina. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
