Finishing plasterer — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Lyon County, Kentucky. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Day to day you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
